Terms of service
Effective date: June 25, 2026 · Software Tutorial Services LLC
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or purchasing a paid courseware package on Courseware Studio (coursewarestudio.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies incorporated by reference, including our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use any of these services. If you do not agree with these Terms or incorporated policies, do not use any service on this platform.
2. Service description
Courseware Studio is an AI-powered e-learning generation platform operated by Software Tutorial Services LLC. The service generates courseware deliverables based on parameters, instructions, and source materials you provide, and may provide editor, preview, regeneration, upgrade, and download workflows for eligible projects.
Course content is generated by large language models. Output quality and accuracy may vary. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all generated content before use in internal, classroom, client-facing, public, or commercial settings.
3. Purchases and payment
All purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Prices are displayed in US dollars. Taxes may apply depending on your location. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method.
Vouchers, production credits, Private Client Catalog terms, and other approved written-agreement credits issued by Courseware Studio may be applied at checkout and reduce or eliminate the payment amount for eligible projects. Vouchers and production credits have no cash value, are non-transferable unless expressly authorized, and expire as specified at the time of issuance.
4. Refunds, reruns, and Course Acceptance Guarantee
Our complete refund, rerun, and Course Acceptance Guarantee terms are set out in the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.
- If the generation pipeline fails to produce a complete course, you may be eligible for a rerun voucher or remediation.
- If delivered content has a material generation defect covered by the Course Acceptance Guarantee, repair, rerun, or remediation is generally the first remedy.
- Trial projects, voucher-funded projects, buyer's remorse, changed requirements, subjective style preferences, and normal AI editing expectations may be excluded as described in the Refund Policy.
- Any refund revokes rights to use, sell, deliver, upload, publish, sublicense, or retain refunded generated courseware as production material.
For complete terms, see the Refund Policy.
5. Ownership and generated courseware rights
You retain ownership of the original materials you provide to Courseware Studio, including course briefs, uploaded source files, books, manuscripts, outlines, internal documentation, Special Syllabus Instructions, and other customer-provided content. Courseware Studio does not claim ownership of those materials.
By submitting content to the platform, you grant Software Tutorial Services LLC a limited right to process, store, transmit to approved service providers, and transform that content only as needed to provide the Courseware Studio service, maintain your project record, and deliver your generated files.
Courseware Studio retains ownership of its platform, software, templates, trademarks, branding, system designs, generation workflows, and other underlying technology.
- Paid packages: Core LMS, Instructor-Led, Courseware Publisher, and approved Private Client Catalog or written-agreement purchases include broad commercial rights to use, copy, modify where editable formats or Courseware Editor access are provided, teach, deliver, publish, sell, distribute, and reuse the generated courseware through your own internal, LMS, training, consulting, publishing, client-delivery, or commercial channels.
- For avoidance of doubt: Full commercial rights apply to every paid Courseware Studio package. Courseware Publisher is an advanced production package; it is not the only paid package that permits commercial use, resale, publishing, client delivery, or distribution of generated courseware.
- Package differences: Package selection determines deliverables, editable formats, Courseware Editor Rev generation allowance, white-label convenience, advanced production features, support options, production-credit terms, and quoted/private handling terms. It does not determine whether paid generated courseware can be used commercially.
- Free Trial: Free Trial output is for evaluation and internal review only. It may include editor access and preview, but Rev deliverable regeneration and commercial usage require a paid package purchase, upgrade, or written permission. Trial output may not be sold, commercially distributed, published as a final commercial product, or presented as final client deliverables unless you later purchase an applicable paid package or obtain written permission.
- Courseware Editor and Rev files: Eligible paid projects may include in-platform editing, preview, and Rev deliverable regeneration. Rev files are generated from edited content, are labeled separately, and may bypass the original content audit or SME Technical Review unless the workflow expressly states otherwise. Original audited deliverables remain preserved according to the project retention and download-window terms.
- Customer source responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that you own or have permission to use all source materials, books, manuscripts, files, URLs, internal documents, prompts, edited content, and client-provided content submitted to Courseware Studio.
- Private Client Catalog handling: A Private Client Catalog, production-credit, or other written agreement may include private handling of customer materials, generated outputs, branding, governance, controlled access, managed support, or custom commercial terms. It does not reserve broad course topics unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
- No topic reservation: Courseware Studio does not reserve broad course topics, and similar course briefs may be generated for other customers unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
- No trademark transfer: Commercial rights to generated courseware do not grant permission to use the Courseware Studio name, logo, CourseRemaster™ trademark, or Software Tutorial Services LLC identity as an endorsement, reseller status, or official partnership without written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Courseware Studio to generate content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- Is defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or deceptive
- Is designed to deceive learners or misrepresent credentials, certification status, official sponsorship, or authorization
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Software Tutorial Services LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of generated content, including losses resulting from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI output.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project does not exceed the amount you paid for that project.
8. Local environment setup package
Local Environment Setup Packages are not included automatically in self-service Core LMS, Instructor-Led, or Courseware Publisher purchases. The course wizard may save setup requirements for a later quote, but saving those requirements does not add a setup ZIP deliverable to checkout. Setup packages are available only by separate written quote, setup-package voucher, Private Client Catalog agreement, production-credit agreement, or other written authorization from Software Tutorial Services LLC.
Before accessing the setup workflow, you must acknowledge the following licensing responsibility notice: I understand that I am responsible for all software licensing, activation, subscriptions, usage rights, and compliance with vendor license terms for any software used in this setup package. Courseware Studio may provide local setup guidance, scripts, and validation checks, but it does not provide software licenses or cloud deployment rights.
- You are solely responsible for all software licensing, activation, subscriptions, usage rights, and compliance with vendor license terms for software used in the setup package.
- The setup package must not be used to bypass licensing, activation, subscriptions, entitlement requirements, authentication, or vendor usage restrictions.
- The setup package is local-only and does not include cloud provisioning, migration, or hosted lab orchestration unless separately agreed in writing.
- You are responsible for testing all setup materials in a non-production environment before using them in a live classroom.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
