How Do You Turn a Client Course Request into a Training Syllabus?

You can use the free syllabus workflow to turn an early request into something concrete enough for customer or internal review without buying a courseware package first.

Step by step

  1. Open Create Free Syllabus

Enter the course title or topic. Courseware Studio provides an editable course number, and you can add an optional course brief when the request needs more direction.

  2. Choose the learner level

Select Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Mixed so the proposed depth and prerequisites match the intended audience.

  3. Choose the duration

Select the planned course length, then choose Build my course plan.

  4. Review the course plan

Check the description, objectives, course outline, and authoritative sources. Use Customize advanced settings when the project needs more control.

  5. Create the syllabus

When the plan is right, choose Looks good — create syllabus. Review the finished syllabus before deciding whether to approve it and continue to production.

Use the review to improve the request

If the first plan exposes an unclear audience, missing objective, unrealistic duration, or source problem, fix the request at this stage. That is the purpose of the preview phase.

Put the workflow into practice.
